The 2017 special issue of IJME focuses on the theme of “Critical Autoethnography in Pursuit of Educational Equity.” Co-edited by Drs. Sherry Marx from Utah State University, Julie Pennington from University of Nevada, and Heewon Chang from Eastern University, the issue presents an introductory essay followed by nine solo or collaborative autoethnographies from global contexts.
The theme of this special issue is "Critical Multicultural Citizenship Education: Student Engagement toward Building an Equitable Society." The issue was co-edited by three guest editors: Dr. Pablo C. Ramirez from Arizona State University, Dr. Cinthia Salinas from University of Texas, Austin, and Dr. Terrie Epstein from Hunter College in the United States.
